“Ugh! I hate the rain!” Remi just wants to go out and play, but the weather cramps his style. Refusing to use his mom’s umbrella in place of his broken one, he races outside only for it to start raining so hard that he has to take shelter next to a shop. Inside, a cat offers him magical umbrellas, but the cat is actually the Spirit of Stormy Nights, and he tricks Remi into setting him free. Remi teams up with the traveling umbrella artisan and his collection of raindrops to defeat the spirit and clear up the storm. During the course of his adventure, he learns to see the beauty in rain and appreciate it as the source of all life—and his mom buys him a new umbrella at the end.
