The popular fantasy series Luchika the Hedgehog gets a picture book entry for young readers. The illustrations are by Yoko Kitami, who won the Bologna Ragazzi Award in 2009 for Rū to Rinden tabi to o-rusuban (Rue and Linden: a journey and staying home; by Rui Kodemari; published by Kodansha).
